There’s a link on Apple’s website to here. Computer Shopper are urging you to upgrade to Snow Leopard (well they would, wouldn’t they!). Hmmmmmmm. My Snow Leopard upgraded Mac is still giving problems – especially crash on save problems from time to time. Adobe tell me they are aware of the problem with their products. Apple tell me that third party software packages are not their problem. No fixes yet. Still no drivers for my scanners. My advice remains – don’t upgrade just yet! Apple seem to have their head in the sand over this one but I am hopeful they are beavering away trying to sort out the problems.
PS. I liked this bit: – “Safari, Apple’s browser, gains crash resistance—always a welcome feature—with a new method of running plug-ins that separates them from the browser’s code.” My version of Safari (the latest) never crashed prior to the upgrade to Snow Leopard. It crashes now!
